How long does withdrawal management take?
Withdrawal management duration is determined entirely by individual clinical assessment. There is no fixed timeframe—each programme is tailored to your specific substance use, medical history and response to treatment. Medication is prescribed individually following medical assessment and ongoing clinical review. Psychiatric assessment and ongoing psychiatric support are available where clinically indicated. Clients requiring hospital-level withdrawal management or acute medical or psychiatric care are referred to the appropriate hospital services prior to admission. Following stabilisation, clients transition into embodied recovery, trauma integration and nervous system restoration—the work that supports sustainable, long-term recovery.
Will anyone know where I am?
Privacy is treated as part of the care environment. Information is managed through appropriate consent processes and professional communication is limited to what is relevant to care, continuity, safety and agreed reporting, subject to applicable legal and professional obligations.
How quickly can I be admitted?
Where clinically appropriate and operationally possible, Sabalical aims to facilitate admission within 24–72 hours. Clinical assessment and suitability are completed before billing, travel and admission are confirmed.
What if I need more than 7 days?
We will tell you honestly. If your presentation requires longer residential recovery, we will personally coordinate your placement with a trusted partner programme and remain involved in your care. Where appropriate, we can also coordinate ongoing treatment with carefully selected partner programmes in Australia and internationally.
Is withdrawal management in Bali medically safe?
For clinically appropriate presentations in Bali — with the right clinical team and careful assessment. Each client is assessed and cared for according to their individual clinical presentation. Sabalical provides 24-Hour Registered Nurse Care and Specialist Psychiatric Oversight within its villa-based model. If a presentation requires hospital-level care, Sabalical follows its pre-arranged clinical escalation protocol, coordinated by the treating clinical and nursing team, including transfer to Siloam Hospitals where clinically appropriate.
What does all-inclusive actually mean?
Your programme inclusions are confirmed in writing before payment and admission. The approved pathway includes private villa care, individualised clinical and recovery planning, 24-Hour Registered Nurse Care, Specialist Psychiatric Oversight, medically supported withdrawal management where clinically indicated, and Two Months Personalised Professional Aftercare. External services and costs are governed by the written programme and client agreement.
Can I withdraw from alcohol at home?
Alcohol withdrawal is one of the few substance withdrawals that can be medically life-threatening — including risk of seizure, delirium tremens and severe cardiovascular complications. Alcohol withdrawal can carry serious medical risks and should be assessed by an appropriately qualified healthcare professional. Clients with previous seizures, previous delirium tremens, severe liver disease or significant co-occurring medical conditions are referred to hospital withdrawal management before Sabalical admission. For mild-to-moderate risk presentations, our medically supervised withdrawal management programme — managed within the Sabalical clinical governance model, with Specialist Psychiatric Oversight and 24-Hour Registered Nurse Care — is specifically designed to keep this safe, structured and as comfortable as possible.
Do you treat burnout without addiction?
Yes. Our nervous system restoration programme is available to clients presenting with burnout, chronic stress and executive fatigue — without a substance use component. The somatic and therapeutic approach is individually selected according to each client's clinical presentation and treatment goals. Psychiatric support and specialised nursing care are available where clinically indicated. The same standards of privacy, personal attention and professional care apply.
